Convergence Energy Services Ltd. (CESL), a state-owned company, has announced the resignation of its
MD and CEO, Mahua Acharya.
Further stating that she would like to step down from the company’s board as well, Acharya asked that
the proper resolution be passed in this regard.She did not, however, go into detail about her resignation
in the letter dated November 28.
Delivering reliable, inexpensive, and clean energy is the main goal of CESL. It is a division of the Ministry
of Power’s joint venture of public sector businesses, Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL), of which it is a
subsidiary.
