Mehidy Hasan Miraj and Mustafizur Rahaman, Bangladesh’s last wicket combo, pulled off an
incredible heist with a thrilling 51-run stand as India faltered in the final 30 minutes to lose a
low-scoring first ODI by one wicket here on Sunday.
The bowlers performed an excellent job of reducing Bangladesh to 136 for 9 in the 40th over,
while India once again put on a terrible batting performance, being all out for 186 in 41.2
overs.
The 51-run partnership between Miraj and Mustafizur was the fourth-highest 10-wicket
partnership in a successful ODI chase and the highest 10-wicket partnership ever for
Bangladesh.
