The launch of Fem Ultra Care sanitary napkins by packaged consumer products manufacturer Dabur India on Wednesday marked the company’s entry into the women’s personal hygiene market.
Already, Dabur sells bleaching products under the Fem personal care brand. Dabur will now go out against Johnson & Johnson’s Stayfree and P&G’s Whisper, which market sanitary products under their respective brands.
The device is being introduced on the e-commerce site Flipkart, where it will initially be sold. The business said while announcing the introduction that the launch will further boost the brand Fem’s presence in the Indian personal care sector.
