India’s labour secretary estimates an increase in jobs and reduced inflation

By participating in various debates on the report by ILO Director-General Gilbert F. Houngbo, India significantly impacted the four-day Asia Pacific Regional Meeting of the International Labour Organization (APRM of ILO), which concluded here on Friday.

Arti Ahuja, the vice chair of the 17th APRM and the union labour secretary, was instrumental in arranging these discussions. She claimed that the APRM assisted each nation in learning from successful examples of how to construct economic recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic.

She claimed that with the increase in jobs, India was now in a much better situation.
