External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stated on Monday that India and the UAE, who recently signed a historic trade agreement, have experienced a “veritable transformation” in their relations that is now starting to have a wider ripple effect. He emphasised that they want to use this relationship to shape the changing world.
The signing of the bilateral trade treaty, which produced such successful outcomes and speaks eloquently for the bilateral relationship, was a defining choice of this shift, he said.
In February of this year, India and the UAE inked the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
