Mattia Binotto’s resignation from Ferrari was revealed last month, and on Tuesday, the Frenchman Frederic Vasseur was named the company’s general manager and team leader for the Formula One season.
Vasseur had already made previous announcements about leaving Swiss-based Sauber, which manages the Alfa Romeo team. Ferrari promised to arrive with them on January 9.
