Tata Steel and Hockey India sign a memorandum of understanding establishing them as the World Cup’s official partners.

In order to become an official partner of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) for the Hockey Men’s World Cup, which will take place in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela in the state of Odisha the following year, Tata Steel Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hockey India.

This is one of the biggest hockey competitions, and the 2023 final will mark the 15th edition. India will be hosting the event for the fourth time; the first time was in 1982 in Bombay. 

The competition was subsequently staged in Delhi in 2010 and Odisha in 2018. The competition, which will take place next year, is anticipated to draw competitors from sixteen nations.
