Meesho abandons its “work from anywhere” strategy and switches to a flex-office setup.

Meesho, which announced its “work from anywhere” policy more than a year ago, will switch to a flexi-office format as of June 1 of 2023.

According to the social commerce firm, employees who migrate to Bengaluru would receive financial assistance for costs such as transportation, real estate brokerage, goods transfer, school readmission, and sponsored daycare facilities for kids under the age of six.

The new development occurs at a time when numerous offices have begun operating, which has caused Bengaluru’s rental prices to soar among other problems. Employees will only need to visit the workplace once each week; on the other days, they can work remotely.
