On December 18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to the election-bound states of Tripura and Meghalaya to dedicate and lay the cornerstones for projects totalling more than $6,800 crore.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the projects span a variety of industries, including housing, roads, agriculture, telecom, IT, tourism, and hospitality.
According to the statement, PM Modi will also attend the North Eastern Council’s meeting in Shillong and take part in its golden jubilee celebration.
