Nirapara, a packaged food and spice brand from Kerala, acquired by Wipro Consumer Care.

On Monday, Wipro Consumer Care revealed that it has purchased Kerala’s Nirapara. By purchasing one of Kerala’s top-selling traditional food brands, the firm enters the packaged food and spice market.

With this acquisition, Wipro Consumer Care joins FMCG companies that already have a presence in the spices sector, including Dabur, Emami, Tata Consumer Products Ltd., and ITC.

The 1976-born company Nirapara is renowned for its spice blends. The brand takes the lead in providing a wide range of spice blends, as well as rice powder needed to make “appam,” “idiyappam,” etc.
