The Indian Olympic Association (IOA)’s elected board has been recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), who also offered their congratulations to president P.T. Usha and the other members.
The representatives of the IOC and OCA, James Macleod and Hussain Al-Musallam, wrote to the IOA president jointly and declared that the way was clear for IOA to function properly moving ahead.
Both international organisations expressed a wish to work effectively together with the newly elected IOA on its mission and day-to-day operations.
