The stray cattle problem in the State has gotten out of hand, according to a statement made by the Gujarat High Court on Tuesday.
Chief Justice Aravind Kumar and Justice Ashutosh J. Shastri’s division bench urged the state administration to take decisive steps to address the issue in the state’s major cities.
A number of petitions stressing the problem of stray cattle in Ahmedabad and other significant Gujarati cities were brought before the bench.When the case was brought up today, the Bench took notice of a tragic event in which a member of the defence force was attacked by a stray cattle.
