According to Congress General Secretary (Organisation) K. C. Venugopal, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will use every weapon at its disposal to stop the Bharat Jodo Yatra as it too senses a change in the nation’s mood.
He added that the response to the yatra clearly demonstrates that the party’s vote count will rise in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Rahul Gandhi, a former president of the Congress, has insisted that the Bharat Jodo Yatra is primarily a movement and does not aim to win any elections.
Mr. Venugopal responded, “Yes,” when asked if the yatra will help the party in elections. The entire Congress party hierarchy is energized, from the lowest to the top. Additionally, ordinary people are stepping forward to join the yatra in addition to party workers.
