Ajay Kumar Srivastava is promoted to the MD and CEO of Indian Overseas Bank

Starting on January 1, the public sector Indian Overseas Bank promoted Ajay Kumar Srivastava to managing director and chief executive officer, the bank announced on Saturday. Mr. Srivastava was the bank’s executive director before assuming the new position.

In 1991, Mr. Srivastava started working in banking as a probationary officer for Allahabad Bank. He entered Indian Overseas Bank in October 2017 after more than 27 years of service. He had a very difficult journey at Indian Overseas Bank and managed all the departments and responsibilities.

With the help of the Board, he developed plans for each of the crucial areas and successfully put them into practice on the ground, according to the statement.
