JSW Group considers manufacturing 4-wheelers and venturing into electric vehicles.

According to a senior official of the company, Sajjan Jindal’s conglomerate JSW Group is thinking about getting into the production of electric automobiles.

A million tonne per year (MTPA) steel facility is owned and run by JSW Group company JSW Steel in Salem, Tamil Nadu. The business produces auto-grade steel at its plant in Salem and sells the high-value steel to automakers, including those that make electric vehicles.

In addition, the $22 billion company has a strong footprint in industries like sports, venture capital, cement, energy, and infrastructure.
