J. P. Nadda, the head of the BJP, claimed on Tuesday that Bihar is once again under the rule of “Jungle Raj,” referring to the establishment of the “Mahagathbandhan” (Grand Alliance) government there around five months earlier.
Speaking to party members in Paru, part of the Muzaffarpur district and the Vaishali Lok Sabha constituency, Mr. Nadda asserted that the state’s law and order had completely collapsed since the Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) and the Congress and RJD joined forces to create the government.
Since ending its coalition with the BJP in August of the previous year, Mr. Nitish Kumar established the government with the opposition parties.
