Around 1,000 employees would be let go by Amazon India.

Amazon, an e-commerce business, intends to terminate over 1,000 employees in India as part of its largest global restructuring effort.

One percent of Amazon’s 1 lakh employees in India will be impacted by the move.

Due to the deteriorating economic climate, the e-commerce company Amazon has announced the elimination of almost 18,000 positions globally. On December 31, 2021, Amazon had about 16,08,000 full- and part-time employees.
