Pushkar Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, examines the situation in Joshimath

On January 7, Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, went to the flooding Joshimath to inspect the situation. According to officials, he met with the injured folks and promised them of his support.

The team of officials and professionals who have been camped out in the town since Thursday was also met by the CM, who accepted their comments on the evacuation drill, they claimed.

He traversed the winding lanes in the damaged areas and entered homes where large fractures had emerged in the ceilings and walls.
