At the third and final T20 match versus Sri Lanka in Rajkot on January 7, 2023, Suryakumar Yadav led India to 228 for five with an unbeaten 112 off of 51 balls.
In order to score his third T20I century, Surya toyed with the Sri Lankan bowlers, hitting fours and maximums at whim and in his signature style all over the field.
Surya required just 19 deliveries to surpass the 100-run threshold after completing his fifty in 26 balls. He smashed a six and a four against Chamika Karunaratne in the final over to put the game away.
