Former Tata CLiQ CEO Vikas Purohit hired by Meta to lead its global business group in India.

The firm said on Monday that social media platform Meta has recruited Vikas Purohit as Director of Global Business Group in India to oversee the strategy and execution of the charter that is targeted at the top advertisers and agency partners in the nation.

Purohit will answer to Director and Head of Ads Business for Meta in India, Arun Srinivas.

Purohit will be in charge of Meta’s interactions with the biggest companies in India and the agency sector. To drive Meta’s revenue growth across key channels in India, Purohit will lead the company’s strategic relationships with the leading brands and agencies in the nation. He will also work with the media and creative ecosystems to hasten the adoption of digital tools by the biggest advertisers and agencies.
