PM Modi said Pravasi Bharatiyas serve as “brand ambassadors” for India abroad

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi referred to Pravasi Bhartiyas as the “brand ambassadors” of India abroad and said they play an important role in the nation’s journey as it enters the “Amrit kaal” of the following 25 years.

He was speaking shortly after the start of the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conference in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

“I view Pravasi Bharatiyas as India’s international brand ambassadors. You play a variety of roles. You represent the yoga, Ayurveda, cottage industry, handicrafts, and millet brands “Modi stated.
