President Joe Biden’s residence in Wilmington, Delaware, and a workplace in Washington, D.C., both had documents with classified markings, according to the U.S. Attorney-General Merrick Garland, who on January 12 named a special counsel to look into the matter.
The declaration came after Mr. Biden acknowledged earlier in the day that certain documents discovered in his garage and personal library included secret marks from his time as Vice-President.
On January 9, it was revealed that secret documents had been discovered in his previous institute’s Washington headquarters.
