Microsoft Corp. has invested in Darwinbox, an Asian provider of human resources software, as more businesses look for ways to attract and keep outstanding employees.
According to a statement released by the startup on Tuesday, the US tech giant made an undisclosed equity investment as a follow-up to Darwinbox’s Series D round, which valued the company at more than $1 billion in early 2022.
The two businesses will collaborate to merge the Darwinbox and Microsoft product ecosystems as part of the agreement.
