Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, has requested “serious and honest conversations” with Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India, regarding “hot topics like Kashmir.”
Mr. Sharif stated that Pakistan has taken its lessons after three wars with India and emphasised that it now wants stability with its neighbour in an interview with Dubai-based Al Arabiya TV.
The Pakistan PMO then stated in a series of tweets that PM Sharif had made it plain that discussions with India will only be feasible if the neighbouring country reinstates Article 370, which grants Jammu and Kashmir autonomy.
