U.S. and Chinese officials will meet to discuss the economy and reduce tension

The highest-ranking meeting between the leaders of the United States and China since their Presidents decided to look into ways to strengthen relations that have expanded progressively tense in recent years takes place on January 18 when U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen takes a seat with her Chinese counterpart.
