By June or July, India’s first mission to investigate the Sun will be launched: ISRO’s chief

By June or July of this year, the Aditya-L1 mission is expected to launch from the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The first Indian space mission to study the Sun and the solar corona is called Aditya-L1.
S. Somanath, chairman of ISRO, stated that the Aditya-L1 mission will launch by June or July since the launch window for the mission would shut by August on Thursday during the handover ceremony of the Visible Line Emission Coronagraph (VELC) payload.
ISRO will launch the Aditya-L1 mission into the L1 orbit (which is the first Lagrangian point of the Sun-Earth system). Aditya-L1 can observe the Sun continually thanks to its L1 orbit.
