Another Superintendent of Police (Samba), Surinder Choudhary, told reporters, “We have received information about a suspicious package (lying) in Rakh Barotiya area of Vijayapura strip. We immediately called the police, the bomb team and the FSL (Forensic Scientist) Science Lab) teams rushed.
“First determine if the package contains an IED (Improvised Explosive Device). Weapons recovered from the package included three Chinese-made pistols, six magazines, 48 bullets and four hand grenades, the official said . he has a box and a long plastic string 50m long…it looks like he’s falling (from the air). The senior police officer added that specific details could only be determined following an investigation.
