Rakesh Khanna resigns and Rajan Gupta is named MD and CEO of Orient Electric.

Rajan Gupta has been appointed by Orient Electric Ltd. As its managing director and CEO for a period of five years beginning on April 4, 2023.
Rajan Gupta was appointed by the company as managing director and chief executive officer during a meeting that was conducted on Friday.
Rakesh Khanna has resigned from his role as MD and CEO, the business also announced, with effect from 3 April 2023.
Rajan Gupta joins the OEL board and will be stationed in New Delhi as a full-time director.
He was formerly affiliated with Hathway Cable and Datacom, where he served as GTPL Hathway’s MD, CEO, and chairman of the board.
