SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • The Corporate Law Board accepts submissions on a rolling basis on company law, securities law, insolvency law, banking law, consumer law, arbitration law, competition law and taxation law.
  • It will be appreciated if submissions are concerning Corporate Law commentary and candid views.
  • The Corporate Law Board prefer posts that include critical analysis or explore particular themes of wider resonance and can be in the form of articles, opinions, case comments and short notes and the language must be simple and free from excessive jargon.
  • The submission should be an original work of the author and not under consideration for publication in any other journal, blog or like platforms otherwise, we would get the blog disqualified.
  • Cross-posting of blogs are not allowed by the Corporate Law Board.
  • Co-authorship of a maximum of 2 people, including the author, is permitted.
  • Upon the receipt of the blog, an email apropos acknowledgement of the same would be sent within 48 hours. In case this does not happen kindly resend the submission of the same.
  • The author(s) including students, academicians, scholars, researchers and professionals have to attach a relevant photograph regarding the subject matter of the blog so that a photographic preview in the blog posts and social media updates can be uploaded (below the photograph, kindly mention the source of the photograph).
  • The final publication of the blog would be made within 20 days if selected for publication.
  • The Corporate Law Board of All India Legal Forum shall have the right to edit the submission without prior notification to the author and can change the title of the selected blog which it deems fit.
  • The Corporate Law Board conducts a strict blind-peer review of the submissions received and holds absolute discretion in determining whether to accept a submission or not.
  • In case of gross plagiarism found in the contents of the submitted manuscript, the manuscript shall be subject to rejection.
  • Copyright of all blog posts shall remain with the Corporate Law Board, All India Legal Forum. All moral rights shall vest with the author(s).
  • Once the blog is submitted, the Corporate Law Board of All India Legal Forum shall presume that the Author(s) have agreed to follow all the guidelines.
  • Any non-compliance with the above-mentioned guidelines shall result in a breach. Thus, leading to the rejection of the submission.
  • In case of any dispute, the decision of the Corporate Law Board of the All India Legal Forum shall be binding and final and the concerned author(s) shall only be held responsible in case of violation of copyright.
  • A certificate of publication shall be issued to the author concerned, upon the publication of the blog.

The author(s) are requested to follow the same while submitting their blogs:

  • The work should not be plagiarized by more than 20%.
  • The maximum word limit prescribed is 1500 words.
  • Longer posts may be accepted and published in parts subject to the discretion of the Corporate Law Board if required.
  • Submissions must be in the form of times new roman format with font-size 12 and line spacing 1.5.
  • Relevant sources must be duly acknowledged via footnotes only and the Oscola 4th Edition format is to be followed.
  • For footnotes, it should be in the form of Times New Roman format with font-size10 and line spacing 1.
  • All entries must be submitted in .doc or .docx format, not in pdf format.
  • Author(s) are hereby requested to mention the title of the manuscript, institutional affiliation and contact details in the mail itself and not inside the file (.doc/.docx) that is being submitted so as to enable anonymous screening and peer-review.
  • All submissions must be mailed at ailf12345corporate@gmail.com with the subject title ‘Corporate Blog Submission’.
